Like many people at a party, the North Carolina police officer below had to join in when V.I.C ‘s upbeat track Wobble started playing at an outside get-together – and it was caught on camera by a resident named Margo Carlton.
The officer is seen in his uniform dancing along with a group of residents at a block party as the popular song from 2008 played in the background. In the beginning of the clip, the police officer even leads the dance.
Like the police officers who stopped to play basketball with some New York City teens and the one who helped young girls with their laundry, the cop in the video below is also gaining a lot of attention.
The video had almost 5 million views on Facebook in less than a day. It also received hundreds of comments from viewers who were pleased to see a positive interaction like this that might usually go unnoticed.
“This is beautiful. I’m not even looking at the color of their skin because it never mattered, were all human,” one wrote. “I’m looking at people getting along and having a good time. This is what we need to see on the news. Blow some positivity into the media, not all this negative drama going on.”
