Palisade Police Officers Go Viral Singing ”Don’t Stop Believing”

With all the recent news surrounding the relationship between police and the public, sometimes it’s hard to remember that public safety officers are human, and they make mistakes just like everyone else. But they’re also heroes who put their lives on the line to maintain the safety of citizens every single day. After several police officers were killed in the line of duty, two Colorado cops decided to record a very special message to the officers in their community, with a little help from one of the most beloved rock 'n' roll anthems of all time.

While sitting in their squad car, Palisade Police Detective Mark Post and Officer Bryce Raber belted out Journey’s "Don’t Stop Believin'" from start to finish. The video was created to remind their brothers and sisters in arms to not lose sight of their mission to serve and protect, despite the adversity they may face along the way. "We know its been a hard year so far for our law enforcement family," the officers write. "Always remember the brotherhood that we have and know it will always keep us together as we push through the struggle, don't stop believing."

They may not be the best singers — or even singers at all — but the internet has fallen in love with these two heroes in blue. Their squad car karaoke session went instantly viral with more than 30,000 shares on Facebook.
