2 Police Officers Escort Mama Duck And Babies To Safety

An officer's duty to protect and serve is never done. When two officers noticed a mother duck and her nine ducklings trying to navigate across a busy town, they did what every good cop would do. They personally escorted the duck family to safety from Bridge Street into Kinnessburn, Scotland.

It's so cute watching these men stand guard over the birds, slowly herding them in the right direction. Once the officers corral the family off the busy streets, every part of me was pulling for these adorable ducks to make it safely down off the ledge, where Mom is waiting to bring them into the water. She encourages her brood of ducklings to jump off, one by one, and join her down on the pavement. I can't imagine what it must have felt like for her, knowing the humans were standing by and watching their every move. As each baby falls to the ground, my heart stopped — and I couldn't breathe until I knew they were all together!

There's no doubt in my mind that this could have ended very badly if not for the quick and noble police work of these officers. It's all in a day's work, fellas!
