There's nothing more relaxing than lounging by the pool or in the water, soaking up the sun and doing little else. It's what summer is all about!
Pool floats are popular purchases during this time of year. They usually come in all kinds of fun shapes and sizes. Sometimes they look like donuts, while others are swans or even slices of pizza. As long as it floats in the water, it'll do for me!
But one pool float design has people scratching their heads. The Aquaria Pasadena Pool Float is advertised as having a "fun, marbleized design," though many think that it looks like one giant maxi pad.
According to Fox 40, the item was first seen being sold in a Sam's Club. It has reportedly been on the market for a number of years, but whether or not people are buying it remains unknown.

Pool floats, of course, come in all kinds of fun shapes and sizes perfect for summertime.
But to most shoppers, this one just looks like a giant maxi pad!
This prompted many women to chime in on the design. One reflected on how the design flaw could have been avoided if a focus group with even just one woman had evaluated it first.
But most women who saw the photo used their sense of humor to poke fun at the design.
Whether the pool float's creators made it this way on purpose or not, it's certainly a memorable design!
If I saw this in a store, I would certainly do a double-take.
