Families and friends all over the world sometimes can't see their loved ones on Christmas or during the holiday season.
People separated by distance often end up sending their loved ones presents or tokens of love in the mail, which leaves everything in the hands of the mailman!
The mail carrier has the task of getting your beloved gift to your loved one. Hopefully they're as kind and brave as the woman you're about to see below.
A postal truck in Wake Forest, NC, suddenly started to smoke while the mail carrier was driving it.
But she immediately took action, trying to save every single package, assuming they were presents for the holidays.
She and a nearby stranger went in and out, grabbing the packages they could as the truck continued going up in flames.
By the time firefighters got there, only two presents were taken in the fire. The rest were safe and sound on solid ground!
Talk about saving Christmas. This brave woman and the brave stranger that helped her certainly put themselves at risk in order to maintain some families' holiday spirit!
Thankfully, no one was hurt. This truck might have to retire, but this mail carrier deserves a raise!
