Jacinta Reck was working out at her local fitness gym in Chicago when she says an employee offered her a protein shake.
She initially turned it down, but the employee seemed persistent. "Are you sure?" he asked. "It's really good."
Jacinta asked the gym worker about the ingredients inside the shake. He told her it was made with peanut butter, bananas, and a "couple other things."
She obliged and took a sip from the plastic cup — and quickly bit into something hard and bitter.

Jacinta realized it wasn't a piece of crushed ice, but a chunk of a mysterious white pill with a chalky consistency. She took the protein shake into the locker room and took pictures of the pill and the cup — then immediately went home in a state of panic. "I knew that I needed to leave, because I had ingested some of the shake, because I didn’t want whatever it was to start kicking in," she told CBS Chicago.
