Getting pulled over can be a pretty scary experience.
You never know what exactly is going to happen when that officer walks up to your window, so those few moments spent waiting in the diver's seat are pretty intense.
It's scary enough to imagine what the officer will think of you, but imagine how intense it would feel if you were dressed, say, in your Halloween costume.
Or what if your entire face were painted green, made up to look like Shrek, the massive, chartreuse ogre from the 2001 movie of the same name.
That strange and slightly terrifying scenario is exactly what happened to a high school senior named Haylee.

According to BuzzFeed, 18-year-old Hayley is a high school senior living in Corona, California.
After school, Hayley takes a makeup class at her Christian Arts & Theater program.
One Monday, Hayley and her classmates were working on stage makeup. By the end of class, Hayley was fully made up to look like the fictional Scottish ogre, Shrek.
After class ended, Hayley drove two of her classmates to get something from a fast-food drive-thru before dropping them home.
But on the way home, Hayley made "an improper left turn" and was pulled over — looking like Shrek.
Hayley told BuzzFeed that she was terrified. She had no idea how to tell him that she wasn't going crazy.
But once the cop walked up to her car, Hayley says he didn't even mention her strange, green complexion. I'm sure most cops have seen stranger things than that!
When Hayley arrived safely to Chick-fil-A, she posted about being pulled over on Twitter.
Her Tweet quickly gained attention.
And strangers online had lots of jokes to make about the whole thing.
Seriously, this is the perfect situation for a pun.
