Heroes Rescue Tiny Puppy Covered In Thick Tar, Wait Until You See Her At 2:37

WARNING: this story contains some graphic content, but the stunning rescue is truly worth watching.

A 3-month-old street puppy in India got stuck in a thick layer of tar near a road that was being repaired. She was trapped and unable to stand or move her legs. Homeless animals in India have become an epidemic, as there are hundreds of thousands of stray dogs at any given time.

A young boy found the puppy, got her out of the tar and then called Animal Aid Unlimited, a rescue center, hospital, and sanctuary for homeless street animals in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. She was in terrible shape; some viewers may find the sight of her covered in thick tar too much to bear. But rest assured, your heart will fill with joy when you see this survivor at the end of the video! While many would consider this precious angel a hopeless case, Animal Aid Unlimited knew she had a lot of life to live, and all she needed was a chance.

In this video, watch how these heroes save the life of this helpless puppy, washing her four times with oil and bath treatments to remove the tar. At first, she was terrified, starving, and exhausted — but as days passed, her heart shined through and she revealed the playful, sweet dog she truly is. She's so thankful, and so am I.
