A year before the video below was shot, Joe Stone was in an accident that was so severe it left him as a c7 quadriplegic. This meant that the only mobility function he had left was his arms.
Instead of giving up on life and letting his wheelchair confinement bring him down, Stone decided to use his injury as a way to stay focused on his health and healing. However, Stone's idea of getting healthy meant focusing on a hefty dream of becoming the first quadriplegic to enter the IRONMAN triathlon.
In order to train for his mission, he strapped himself with a GoPro camera and hand cycled the entire route of Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park, Montana. If that's isn't insane enough, he climbed to the top in just 8 hours.
If this doesn't empower you to never give up, nothing will.
Enjoy and let's celebrate Stone's determination and SHARE this video.
