Bad days are a part of being human. Without the bad, we probably wouldn't appreciate the good. While we know this in the back of our heads, another part of being human is having trouble thinking rationally when we are down in the dumps.
For example, I recently got a haircut that I really don't like. I walked into the salon very excited, hoping to walk out with a new summer 'do that would make me feel fresh and ready to hit the beach.
Instead, what I got was a style that made me feel disheveled and insecure. Of course, deep down I knew that my family was right when they told me it wasn't that bad. But that didn't stop me from pouting for 48 hours.
What I needed was something to put my problems in perspective, and some reassurance from the universe that I wasn't the first person to have a bad day, or a bad haircut. I could have used the help of these quotes below.
