This Baby Monkey Was Rejected By Her Mother.. But Her Surrogates Will Warm Your Heart.

After being rejected by her mother, an adorable baby gorilla is getting a second chance at life. Five-week-old baby gorilla Kamina was rejected by her mother immediately after being born on Aug. 16 at the Oklahoma City Zoo, leaving her life at risk. That's when the Cincinnati Zoo answered their call for help. They recently found a surrogate for another gorilla and agreed to find Kamina one, too!

Before the tiny gorilla can be introduced to the others, humans have stepped in to act as her mother. She will spend three months with human surrogates who dress up like gorillas. It's easy to see the tiny gorilla just loves snuggling up in the blanket of faux-fur. Aww! She is getting the love and attention she truly deserves. Eventually, she will be introduced to the other gorillas and be ready to spend time with her fellow primate pals.
