Couple Plans On Getting Married 38 Times In 12 Different Countries

Rhiann Woodyard is 32 years 0ld and just got married for the 21st time. She plans on getting married at least 38 times. I know what you're thinking — she has taken the Elizabeth Taylor thing a little too far!

Before you're quick to judge, consider this: Rhiann has married the same man 21 times and will marry the same man 38 times.

She and her husband Cheetah didn't want a traditional wedding because they seemed too expensive. What the pair found was that it was actually cheaper to get married 38 times in 12 different countries than to have a single wedding in one place.

I mean, who wouldn't want to travel the world with the love of their life? This kind of sickeningly sweet romanticism reminds me of the marriage proposal that took 365 days to complete.

Some people just can't help but gush about their loved ones. There's another thing that makes Rhiann and Cheetah an extraordinary couple: It's how they met.

See their story and stunning photos below.

Rhiann Woodyard just got married for the 21st time. The thing is, so did her husband, Cheetah Platt.

Cheetah and Rhiann are also ACROBATS! The couple met at a meet-up for acrobats and the rest is history.

When Cheetah proposed to Rhiann, the couple struggled to come up with a proper theme for their wedding.

“After lots of discussion, we decided we didn’t want to choose,” Rhiann told BuzzFeed.

So the couple decided to have 38 weddings in 83 days, in 12 different countries.

“When we were looking at prices for a traditional California wedding, they were so expensive and nothing felt special,” she said.

The average cost of a wedding in California is between $29,764 and $49,606. Cheetah and Rhiann found tickets to the 11 countries for less than $3,000 each.

“A lot of women spend a whole lot of time and stress and money on their one day, and then it’s over,” she continued. “I love that I get to marry [Cheetah] over and over again. It’s exciting that it’s not just done in one day.”

“A lot of people say you should travel with the person you’re going to marry,” Rhiann said. “We get to learn about each other every day more and more, and I love that it’s brought us close.”
