Those who work in road construction deserve a lot of respect. They work grueling hours in all kinds of weather, and when they get home, their aching muscles make it that much harder to get up early and do it all over again the next day. They make our streets safe and comfortable to drive and walk on, and even though we may curse them when construction makes us late for work, they're the only reason we can get to work in the first place. But nobody's perfect, and when construction workers mess up, it can lead to some pretty hilarious results.
It's easy to criticize someone's work when you're not the one doing it, but just like when these builders made some mistakes that were very obvious, you sometimes have to wonder exactly what some construction workers were thinking!
To be fair, I'd probably make some pretty poor choices if I were an architect (which is exactly why I'm not one), but I still don't understand how multiple people can work on a major project and not notice such glaring errors. But as this guy found out when he spent long hours installing a cat door for his unappreciative feline friend, sometimes you can do everything perfectly and it still doesn't turn out exactly the way you hoped.
