You've probably noticed a flurry of teens scurrying around your town in their fanciest duds lately, which can only mean one thing: it's prom season! Which means many seniors are popping the all-important promposal question to their date hopefuls. Unlike when I was in school, you can't simply ask someone to join you for the shindig anymore. Instead, it has to be almost as much of a production as the event itself, or better yet, even bigger!
And our humble high-schoolers aren't the only ones vying for that perfect someone by their side. Hollywood youngsters have to pull out all the stops for their own proms, too. Sure, they might be a little busy filming one of the world's most anticipated blockbusters of the summer, but the actors are still kids, after all. Despite all the red carpets and awards shows they attend, those kiddos can still get pretty nervous when it comes to this snazzy right of passage.
That's probably why Night at the Museum actor Skyler Gisondo decided to go big or go home by requesting the assistance of a couple of his costars to help him out back in 2014. Ben Stiller, who plays his father, was more than happy to oblige in this clip taped during a break in filming, but it was the one and only Robin Williams who really stole the show.
It's still hard for me to remember that the beloved actor is really gone sometimes, but moments like this make me remember why Williams will never truly leave our hearts.
