I think I'd buy a big penthouse apartment and fill it with cozy furniture and lots of blankets.
But it seems like Hollywood director Roland Emmerich's dream home looks pretty different from mine.
Roland, who is known for directing movies like Godzilla and Independence Day, has put his London home up for rent — and it turns out his interior design taste is a little unusual.
The home costs £8,000, or about $10,000, a week to rent.
So if you've got that kind of money around and are interested in unique interior design, call up your real estate agent now.

Roland Emmerich is known best for directing the movies Godzilla and Independence Day, but recently his London home has been making headlines as well.
The gorgeous mansion located in Knightsbridge, London, looks pretty standard from the outside. However, for $10,000 a week, it doesn't disappoint.
When I think of the cupboard under the stairs I think of Harry Potter — Roland, though, thinks of Pope John Paul II. This lifelike wax figure would totally freak me out if I walked past it late at night.
Even the bedrooms have strange touches. This one may look pretty standard, but if you look closely, the paintings have actually spread to the floor, turning the whole room into a canvas.
The director's study is like a peek inside his head to see how his brilliant brain works.
And this regal bedroom pays homage to the city of London.
But there are references to the US too, in this military-themed bathroom.
And as if the inside wasn't interesting enough, Roland's backyard is like a jungle paradise in a big city.
