Tourists On Safari See Wild Buffalo Attack Baby Lions. How They’re Rescued? My Heart’s Pounding!

For a lot of people, when something extremely scary or stressful happens, a natural response is to relieve that stress with laughter. It may seem crazy, but when you have so much adrenaline running through your body, this nervous laugh can actually help you to overcome anxiety, something that doctors say is a way of your brain telling your body that a situation is not as bad as you originally perceived it to be.

When you see this video, you will probably understand the reason for the laughter at the end, although it starts out pretty tense…and at moments, even terrifying.

While on safari in Uganda, these tourists were on a fairly calm jeep tour, taking in their surroundings. Captivated by the wild animals they saw in their natural habitat, they were on cloud nine.

But as we have seen before, you never know what to expect when you're dealing with wild animals. We have seen the incredible photos of one elephant who decided a tourist's car was the perfect spot for a nap, and the lions that chased a jeep for a little game of tug of war, but we have never seen tourists jump into action to help wild animals quite like this before!

Following the instructions of their tour guide, they take action when a group of very large buffalo begin to run towards a pack of very tiny lion cubs. Protecting the buffalo from being shot, and the cups from being trampled, they speed towards the animals in their jeep, screaming to scare them away from the precious babies.

Although it is a very intense few minutes, they are able to save all the animals that were in danger, and even able to have a good laugh once everyone is out of harms way.

If you think these tourists are heroes, please SHARE!
