Families Can Now Stay In Santa Claus’ Cabin In Finland & Kids Can Even Help Out His Elves

Santa's Official Post Office in Rovaniemi, Finland, is accepting visitors this year. Santa Claus’ Cabin is now listed on Airbnb, and the guests who stay there this December will have the chance to work in Santa Claus’ Post Office sorting letters to Santa and checking his naughty and nice list. Rovaniemi is known for being the "official" home of Santa Claus. Santa Claus’ Post Office is the only official post office where Santa receives mail, and it has existed since the 1980s.

One lucky family will be able to stay at Santa Claus’ Cabin from December 18 to 21, 2023. You can request to book the stay starting Monday, December 11, at 10 a.m. GMT. The lucky guests will get to spend three nights at the cabin for free.

According to the post office's website, Santa has received millions of letters from hundreds of different countries at this location. Guests at the Airbnb will learn how to be proper "elves" at the post office. In addition to some basic elf tasks, like emptying mailboxes, guests will also get to see the northern lights, eat traditional Finnish food, and experience a traditional Finnish sauna.
