Sara Moore Gruver was on her way home from the grocery store with her kids when she found herself in a bit of a pickle.
After making all of her important payments, she only had $20 left to her name. This didn't worry her, but she knew to save the money in case she needed it for something before her next payday.
When her kids begged her for ice cream, she was forced to say no.
Then, her son, Josh, decided he was going to pray to God so his mom could have more money and buy him the ice cream he so desperately wanted.
Just when Sara told her kids that things didn't work out that way, she realized that Josh's prayer to God meant a whole lot more than she expected it to.
When she looked down at her doorstep, she coincidentally found a life-changing envelope.

This is Sara. When you hear her story, you'll be amazed.
She was on her way home with her kids after buying groceries.

After paying for all of her family's expenses, Sara only had $20 left to her name.
In her Facebook post, Sara explains, "That's okay. Then on the way home from grocery shopping today, my kids begged for ice cream. Begged. Cried real tears. All the drama."
Sadly, she had to tell her kids that a trip to the ice cream shop just wasn't in the cards that day.

As much as her children wanted ice cream, Sara couldn't do it.
She told them, "I'm short on money and I might need that $20 before payday. We have plenty of good food at home; we don't need to stop at the ice cream store."

Then, from the backseat, her son, Josh, prayed to God.
He said, "God, we'd really love some ice cream. Is there any way you can give Mommy some money so we can get some ice cream tonight? We know you can. Thank you."

In her post, Sara says she told her kids, "God isn't going to drop money on our door step so you two can get ice cream. He's BUSY right now with natural disasters."
She says her son replied, "God said you'll have plenty of money for ice cream and to give some to the natural disaster people."
Sara tried to explain it didn't work like that — but then she returned home and found something unexpected laying on her doorstep.

She looked down and saw the mail. Then, she spotted an envelope addressed to her.
When she opened it, she couldn't believe what was inside.

It was a check for $123.
The money was from a student loan overpayment she made back in 2007. Sara did just what Josh told her would happen in the car after he prayed for God to help her.
In her post, she says, "The kids were not surprised. God was not surprised. They got ice cream. The Red Cross got a donation. And Mom remembered, yet again, what it means to have the faith of a child."

Shortly after Sara shared what happened on Facebook, her post went viral with 52,000 likes as of September 1, 2017.
