The energy, the crowd, the acoustics, and especially the unpredictability make concerts such a once in a lifetime experience every single time. To me, one of the very best parts about seeing a live show is that you never know who might pop out on stage and make a special appearance. Just when you think you know exactly what's coming next, someone like country superstar Blake Shelton walks out to make a performance even more unforgettable!
One time you can be sure you'll get a little extra bang for your ticket buck is at a music festival, where musicians always love to spice up their live shows with special friends. During the 2005 Live 8 benefit concerts, everyone from Paul McCartney to Will Smith took the stage on the July 2nd shows all over the world. However, there was one truly incredible moment when two superstar voices came together.
Sarah McLachlan has probably sang her incredible song "Angel" hundreds of times, but I bet she'll never forget the amazing performance in the video below. As she started to sing the incredibly emotional and touching song, Josh Groban walks out on stage for an incredible duet. McLachlan is pretty amazing on her own, but there's no arguing Groban's perfect pitch is the ideal complement in this awesome performance.
