These Swimmers Had No Idea What They Were In For When They Hit The Water, This Footage Is Unbelievable!!!

I can't believe this is real!! As a group of graduate students hit the open waters near the Scripps Pier at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in San Diego and swam right into a monstrous school of anchovy!!

One average anchovies are between three and four-inches long and, according to news reports, this particular school of fish measured about 50 feet wide and 325 feet long, and could have contained as many as 100 million fish!!

The footage, which was also recorded by the school's staff and students, is just unbelievable! I can't get over how massive this school of fish is! Even though they are anchovy, I don't think I would be able to remain calm knowing the depths of what I am swimming into!

What an amazing experience for these students!
