Internet Goes Wild For Adorable Sea Bunnies

I thought these tiny creatures had to be a rare species of bunny or maybe even some kind of candy, but when I looked closer, I realized they were actually slugs.

Yes, slugs! Many people are going crazy over what they're calling "sea bunnies." The slugs are less than an inch long and can be found in the Indian Ocean.

A lot of people thought they were a hoax; but when they conducted a little research, they were pretty excited about their existence.

It isn't unusual for animals to look like other things, many people were convinced this strange bird was a leaf!

"I googled the sea bunnies and they are real. I'm screaming. This is the best day of my life. They are actually some kind of sea slugs. I'm in love," said one Tumblr user.

"Wow. These Sea bunnies were really scary to me at first. But after a few moments I suddenly realized how perfectly they fit in our ecosystem, and how without their valuable addition our whole planet would suffer for it," another said.

No matter how you dice it, whether sea- or land-dwelling, anything that resembles a cuddly bunny is darn cute!
