I will admit that I'm not a big reptile person. I'll take my dogs over lizards or snakes any day.
I usually don't think of these scaly, dinosaur-like creatures as being cute, sweet, or cuddly, but then I see photos like these of a baby chameleon and I can't help but change my mind. If you need further proof, just watch this video of a chameleon being hatched.
Chameleons are definitely fascinating creatures with their ability to easily blend in with their surroundings. The Panther chameleon also has a tongue that can extend to twice its body shape, which can be quite long as panther chameleons can grow to 20 inches in length.
This particular baby panther chameleon now has a special place in my heart.
According to the pet store Canvas Chameleons, this Panther chameleon was having a hard time hatching. The employees of the pet shop had to help it break out of its shell. They took some photos just seconds after it hatched, and the results are heartwarming.

The pet shop writes, “Here is a baby Panther only seconds old that didn’t realize he was out of the egg."

“If the egg pips on the side for some reason it can be difficult for the little one to push out as their head isn’t near the hole and I’ve actually had them push out other parts of their bodies like their yoke sac which ultimately end up taking their life.”
“I felt it was necessary to play mother nature and give him a helping hand.”

"The little one is doing well and is currently hanging out with its brothers and sisters."
