Although it's been said time and time again that most magazine cover models are the products of extensive Photoshop, seeing these beautiful women can still make us feel insecure about our own imperfections. But a clip called "Body Evolution" finally unveils the dirty truth about how much airbrushing can really change a person.
The mind-blowing video shows 26-year-old Sally Gifford Piper undergoing a transformation into a drop-dead gorgeous model with the help of a hair and make-up artist and, of course, Photoshop. The time-lapsed video shows her, as she is made tanner, slimmer and taller. She's also given longer hair and smoother skin.
After the eye-opening video went viral, Piper explained why she decided to produce it, saying: "I feel really angry about the pressure on women. The reality is that most of us don't look like these perfect women, and I think there needs to be a celebration of all different shapes and sizes. And we need to see more variety and I'm determined to fight for that."
