In my humble opinion, there are few things more freeing that cutting your long, luscious locks to a short, breezy bob. It feels like a huge weight is lifted off of your shoulders, both literally and metaphorically. Running your fingers through a freshly-cut bob is supremely satisfying.
But, I know lots of people that are hesitant to go for the big chop because that means that they'll no longer have all those cute hairstyles available to them anymore. With shorter hair, it is admittedly harder to find awesome up-dos that keep all of the hair off of your neck and out of your face. However, I swear to you that there are plenty out there.
Even if you can only do a simple braid, like me, you're going to be able to master this braided up-do for short hair in no time. All you need to do is grab some bobby pins, some tiny clear hair ties, and you're good to go.
This look is perfect for one of those scorching, sunny days where all you want to do is feel the breeze on your neck or to soak in the cool ocean. It's also great for those chilly evenings once the sunshine has disappeared and the breeze has you reaching for your sweater and brushing the bangs out of your face.
