Many of us don't think twice about what can happen when we're driving on the road.
Of course, we take the necessary precautions to keep ourselves and our loved ones safe and alive by enforcing some rules: keeping our seat belts on, no texting or calling while driving, and keeping eyes on the road at all times.
But there are certain parts of life that we simply can't avoid, and that are out of our hands, such as when we have medical emergencies. Just think about what could happen if we had one while driving?
While this isn't a pleasant thought, it happens to many: this mom suffered a seizure on her way home from church, but luckily her son was there to steer the family to safety.
Now, another man is lucky to be alive, and it's all because of a few Good Samaritans who jumped into action when he suffered a medical emergency behind the wheel.
Though he was conscious, he was incoherent — and drove straight into a lake. His car started sinking, and, with the driver's window rolled up tight, he couldn't get out.
Officer and the strangers tried their best to get him out. They risked their lives, and as seconds ticked by, they almost believed that they wouldn't be able to pull him out. Eventually, they did!
