I am a huge scaredy cat. I hate horror movies, I sleep with a night light, and I'll never be convinced to venture into a dark basement alone. It's shameful, I know.
But despite being a lily-livered baby, I absolutely love ghost stories — especially those that come with chilling evidence, like this woman who recorded shocking activity in her haunted house.
However, though I love reading and watching many accounts of spine-tingling paranormal encounters, I've never seen a picture capture this before… Who knew a smartphone could take a photo like this?
And it seems I'm not the only one shocked by this picture. As reported by The Mirror, the photographer himself had no idea what he'd captured until he examined it later on.

For Andrew Milburn of West Yorkshire, England, his Friday night shift at the Leeds General Infirmary began like any other.
While passing the children's ward, Andrew snapped a quick photo. He'd been texting with his girlfriend, and he wanted to prove to her he'd begun his shift. This is the image he sent to her.
