He won't be spending his $6.50 on a birthday card for his wife. Oh no, not this year. This husband is just not going to do it for his wife's 51st birthday. David has been married to her for 23 years.
"I know, some of you might say that makes me one of those bad husbands. But the problem is, an ordinary card won't do for Kristy. She's no ordinary woman," he says. "If you want to know why that is, follow me. I'll explain." Kristy met her husband while vacationing in Jamaica. She smiled at David and he never forgot it, that smile. He still can't believe that a woman like her married a guy like him.
"Although she'll deny it. Kristy has a fan club and I like to think of myself as the president," he says of his veterinarian wife who has taken care of every animal imaginable. Throughout the video David gushes about his wife, how much she is loved, how much she loves others, and how wonderful she is. As he does so, you'll notice that he's walking in the snow. He's really trudging along. But what is he really doing?
When the camera pans out, you'll see that as he has been walking this entire time, he's been writing something in the snow. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRISTY," the message reads in gigantic letters. You'd have to be in a helicopter to see him. No card this year, but certainly a touching video and message to the woman he loves.
