Normally the guys of YouTube channel OckTV are all about pranking people and having the last laugh, but they recently showed that they have a softer side, with the following video that sheds light on a major issue.
This emotional video is a social experiment that tests the folks of NYC to see if they would share food with someone who asked for help. The OckTV guys asked strangers who were eating pizza if they could spare some of their meal. Some people were polite, while others were just plain rude, pointing out that the guys didn't appear to be homeless or hurting.
After a few attempts, it didn't seem like anyone was going to help out the hungry guys with a slice. Then they came upon a real homeless man who looked hungry. The real test happened when they bought the man a pizza and then posed as someone hungry who asked him to share. It turned out that the least fortunate man they encountered was the only one who offered to share his meal.
This video is incredibly powerful and can teach us so much about society. It really makes you wonder what YOU would have done, doesn't it?
