What would you do if you saw someone drop their wallet on the ground?
If you're a normal, upstanding citizen and a person with a conscience, you're going to do the right thing and chase them down…especially if there's a ton of people walking around. Unfortunately, as we've seen in videos like this social experiment featuring a "blind man", people are pretty unpredictable.
I'm someone who believes in karma — what goes around comes back around. This video of a jerk and his cat is the perfect example. However, not everyone is as enlightened as you and I, and the following video proves it.
Students at George Mason University decided to pull a social experiment of their own and try out the old wallet-dropping trick on coeds wandering around their campus. Now, I'm not sure if this school has cameras, but as you can see in the video, there are a ton of people walking around in broad daylight, and I assumed everyone would give the wallet back to the guy in the red shirt right away.
However, the results of this experiment completely surprised me. It just goes to show you can never judge a book by its cover! What would you do in this situation — return the wallet, or take the money, run, and live with the guilt?
