Crowded Stadium Sings In Response To Baseball Game Skipping National Anthem

A stadium full of University of Louisiana-Lafayette softball fans got a severe disappointment when they found out that the big game was about to begin.

It turned out that because it was the third game of the day, there would be no more singing of our national anthem due to "time constraints." The Advocate's Luke Johnson reports that as the game was set to begin, several attempts were made to get the PA booth to play the anthem, but after those attempts all failed, the home team crowd came up with a pretty amazing solution.

The Ragin' Cajuns were playing Baylor and went on to win the game 9-1, but this is the story everyone wants to talk about, and after viewing this incredibly patriotic video, you'll just have to agree!

Singing the national anthem before a baseball game is a long standing tradition that's been followed since WWII. Since then the tradition has spread to all sporting events, MLS, NBA, NFL, and NHL games as well.

Time constraints or not, this stadium of diehard baseball fans/honorable American patriots truly showed what it means to keep up with tradition and give the honor and respect that our flag, and country, deserves.

What would you do if someone canceled the "Star-Spangled Banner" due to "time constraints?" Let us know in the comments below!

And please SHARE this patriotic video with your freedom-loving friends!
