It was a normal day in Afghanistan; soldiers were eating their dinner and everyone was busy talking about what had happened that day — but suddenly, some crazy dance music started playing.
The inhabitants of the forward operating base known as "Shank" will definitely not forget this crazy moment of their experience in the military. Beginning with the club song, "Move it," before moving to Michael Jackson's "Thriller," this hilarious video has a bunch of catchy songs while our nation's brave men and women let off some steam in their free time.
While this hilarious group of soldiers aren't as harmonically talented as the cast of Broadway's The Lion King, you just have to give them respect for doing their best on the dance floor. It's hilarious how many of the soldiers were involved in this epic flash mob. In fact, it seems nearly everyone in the room was participating in the amazing dance off!
We particularly love the group of commanding officers who aren't too sure what to do but laugh. It definitely breaks apart the monotony of the day and improves morale!
Even with the camaraderie of fellow soldiers, sometimes it can get rather difficult to keep a smile after so many months of being overseas away from their families. It's moments like this that let the brave men and women of our nation's military to relax and have some fun like these amazing moose!
