U.S. Army soldier Austin Arledge gave his mom the most heartwarming homecoming surprise ever. Initially, Arledge was supposed to return from Afghanistan in August, but he came home early and plotted an amazing surprise his family. In the video, Arledge is seen sneaking around outside his home before ducking into the flower bed to "hide." He has a friend run inside and tell his mom that she needs to come out immediately. When his mom steps outside and sees her son, she screams with joy and begins to cry. She can barely believe he's standing there in front of her. "Oh my God! Oh my God!," she exclaims, refusing to let him go. She continues, "How did you do that? I thought you weren't coming home 'til August?" There have been plenty of surprise solider homecomings recently, including Staff Sgt. Markita James' return from Afghanistan to surprise her mother during a graduation ceremony, and Sergeant Eric Rampley who gave his 9-year-old daughter the best birthday gift ever. From Mom's reaction, his homecoming surprise was worth it! Seeing the look her face, just the utter look of shock and disbelief, is priceless! This is one reunion Arledge's mother will never forget.
