There are so many things in the world to be thankful for, but one that we can all agree on is our safety, thanks to the men and women who serve our country.
Without all of these men and women of all ages, races, shapes, and sizes, we would not be alive and well today, living in the state that we are so lucky to be living in.
Young trainees and soldiers, like the ones you’re about to see in this video, can be a simple reminder of how many people are truly sacrificing their lives abroad and giving up a normal life at home, so that we can feel safe and live normal lives here in America. These people are selfless and help us in more ways than we’ll ever know — which is why seeing soldiers reunite with their families and get well-deserved surprises is always a heartwarming treat.
When this young trainee goes to an award ceremony, she thinks that it’s going to be like any other one that she’s been to, until something happens at the doors. She is given the surprise of a lifetime.
