Soldier Surprises Daughter During Her Performance With The School Choir

For nine long months, Sgt. Willis was away from his family, fighting for our country. His teenage daughter Madison had a particular tough time dealing with her dad's deployment.

17-year-old Madison tried to live as normal a life as possible and keep herself busy with school activities. One of those activities was her school choir. One day at school, Madison was singing with The West Creek High School Chorus when she got the biggest surprise of her life — and her reaction makes this video truly incredible. The local Fox news station was there with cameras on hand to capture the incredible moment.

The second Madison catches a glimpse of her dad in the back of the auditorium, she runs off stage in the middle of the concert and into her father's arms. The audience cheered with delight. The concert eventually resumed, and Sgt. Willis got to watch Madison up on stage, as proud as can be.

But the icing on the cake comes at the very end, when Sgt. Willis reveals he carried with him a special card from his daughter every day in Afghanistan. This was his 6th and final deployment.

"It was an incredible moment she will never forget for the rest of her life," Madison's mom said. "That's what we do as parents, we help try to create memories for our children they'll never forget."
