It was just an ordinary day at the office for one father, who was in a meeting when he heard a knock at the door. He had no idea that his son — a soldier — was on the other side to give him the surprise of a lifetime! When Mr. Miller opened the door, he was absolutely shocked and quickly in tears (as a lot of people who watch this will be!) at his son’s surprise homecoming. The Miller men embrace each other in a long hug, and the father can’t get over his son’s surprise homecoming.
“Well, this meeting’s over,” jokes one of his colleagues, as he leaves the office to give the Miller family some time to catch up. “You’ve got more important things going on here.”
Any time a soldier returns home safely, it is something to be celebrated. When that soldier adds in the element of surprise to his or her homecoming, though, it becomes a truly memorable moment. This military mom surprised her two children during a school assembly, and they could not believe it! This military couple surprised their young daughter during a magic show, and it was truly magical!
This will certainly be a moment that both men remember for the rest of their lives.
