When Mathew Stanley and Andrew Flounders went out one afternoon to catch a few waves, they had no idea they'd be meeting a new friend! After something nudged Andrew's foot under water, both of the men were scared that it was something dangerous, but it turned out to be a friendly seal pup!
The seal was so friendly, it ended up spending about an hour with the two, getting on their surf boards and even riding the waves with them! The little one even tried to follow them up the beach when they were done surfing!
After the two got home they contacted a local marine wildlife authority, just in case there could be something wrong with the pup – because it spent so much time with them. But if you watch the video, it seems like this little guy is just having some fun with new friends!
