Son Starts Working In Dad’s Hospital A Month After He Dies, Then Finds Out He Has His Old Locker

When Tyler Crowe's father passed away, all he wanted to do was carry on the man's legacy. He imagined himself doing the same good work he did by being in a hospital.

Tyler's father was an anesthesiologist for 23 years in Seneca, South Carolina. Tyler had graduated from Clemson University and was well on his way to following in his dad's footsteps. Unfortunately, the dad would never see his son working in the same hospital as he did.

About a month after his father died, Tyler became a materials specialist in the very same hospital. When he scrubbed out on his first day at work, he received an unusual surprise: the doctors had given him his father's old locker. It was undoubtedly a bittersweet moment for the young man.

Now, Tyler can go to work and help others the way his dad did, knowing that he's watching over him and guiding him!

My dad passed away a month ago and today I started working at the hospital and got his locker.

I just want to help people like he did. My father was an anesthesiologist that faithfully served the community of Seneca for 23 years.

In November of 2016 he was diagnosed with stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). On May 20th of 2017, he went to be with his Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

He was an inspiration to many. He treated everybody like a close friend and treated each of his patients like a member of his own family.

He’s my role model and the most amazing man I’ve ever known.

I started working at the hospital in June and when I went to scrub out, the doctors said I could have his locker.

What a beautiful way to continue his legacy as I start my journey into the medical field.
