‘Sound Of Music’ Flash Mob With Kids Takes Over The Subway In Australia

Flash mobs are always exciting to watch, especially when they happen in places you least expect.

We've seen a sweet flash mob proposal take place on a New Jersey pier, and an unforgettable one when senior citizens took over a grocery store in Idaho. In both cases, no one saw these performances coming.

Below is another that took commuters in Brisbane, Australia, by complete surprise. And it might be just a little sweeter since it features children from the Sound of Music cast (they perform at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre’s Lyric Theatre).

This talented cast entertained commuters on the train with a performance of "Do Re Mi" with direction from Amy Lehpamer, who stars as the lead character, Maria. Of course, the performers received a lovely round of applause once they concluded the show.

A commuter, who was visiting Brisbane for the first time, recorded the unexpected performance and shared it on Facebook. The clip received more than 300,000 views in less than two days.

The official Sound of Music Facebook page even shared the video writing, "The von Trapp family singers came down from the hills and delighted the passengers of Queensland Rail!"

Watch below and please SHARE if you wish something like this could happen on your next commute!
