Spring is in the air and the school year is drawing to a close. That can only mean one thing…prom season! It's that one magical night that you dream of your entire high school career, and arguably one of the most monumental events in a teen's life.
I never got to go to my prom. I got into an accident and spent the entire day in the hospital being stitched up while my prom date went alone. But he did end up marrying me, for which I am eternally grateful!
The incredible teen in this video feels that no one should miss out on their prom. So he decides to ask his friend, but how he does it will touch your heart.
Tiffany Gay is a special needs student at Natalia High School in Texas. Luis Velasquez is the guy you are about to fall in love with.
Tiffany and Luis have been friends since seventh grade. When Luis decided to ask Tiffany to the prom, he made sure to do it in the most unbelievable way. With the help of the school principal, Luis had students line a sidewalk during a practice fire drill, while Bruno Mars' "Just The Way You Are" plays in the background. He told his mom he wanted to ask Tiffany "because she's a good person and she deserves it."
