Double-exposed photography is one of the earliest ways folks realized they could produce some seriously creepy results after snapping a picture.

Of course, after centuries of technological advancements, photo enthusiasts have found plenty more ways to trick us with images. One guy hilariously makes a habit of using Photoshop to look like he's hanging out with celebs!
But these images are much more likely to inspire a case of the heebie-jeebies than any chuckles. We obviously know there isn't anything really ghostly going on with the pics, but the fact that they're all from so long ago and distorted so strangely definitely gave me a few goose bumps.
