British photographer Max Ellis is a pro at capturing photos of curious squirrels, so when he spotted a spooky Jack-o-Lantern in his background "floating" about, he had a hunch as to what (and who) was up to no good…
Upon closer investigation, Max discovered that a pack of squirrels had taken over his pumpkin props, no doubt because he'd left treats around them to entice to interact with them, and one squirrel who had decided to steal his Jack-o-Lantern for himself!
The mischievous squirrel made a valiant effort to retrieve whatever treat was hiding inside the Jack-o-Lantern, making for him pretty adorable and hilarious candid photos.
