After the long winter we've had, I'm counting down the days until spring and one of my favorite days of the year, St. Patrick's Day. I love it all — the parade, the treats, the bagpipes, and of course, the green beer! The best part of this holiday is that people from every culture embrace it. It's really the first day of the year that people in colder areas come out of hiding to laugh and be jolly.
While I don't go all-out dressing in green St. Patrick's Day gear like I once did, I always try to show a little spirit on St. Patrick's Day, and one of my favorite places to wear my Irish pride is right on my fingernails! Normally I just slap on some green paint, but this year I decided to upgrade to something that stands out a little more — and that's how I found the following awesome tutorial from My Simple Little Pleasures on YouTube.
In this clip, a nail artist teaches us how to create green and white water marble nail art for St. Patrick's Day that is just to die for. The pro creates a really gorgeous shamrock design, but you can use this same technique with any colors of your choice. Isn't this amazing?!
