There's no denying that one of the best perks of traveling is that you get to taste the cuisine unique to that region…especially the sweet stuff!
When I go on vacation, I like to treat myself a little, and one of my favorite things to try all over the world is ice cream. From the decadent gelato in Italy to the refreshing shaved ice you can find on the Hawaiian Islands, there is nothing like a frozen treat to cool you down on a warm day.
Here in the United States, you can buy ice cream anywhere, but in places like Singapore, where this little boy got way more than he ordered, there's just a little more love put into the process. In the following video, we see what happens when you order ice cream in Thailand, and after just a few seconds in, I couldn't stop myself from drooling.
Instead of reading through the unknown ingredients, you know what you're getting when this street vendor serves up the scoops. He combines fresh fruit and cream on a freezing cold pan to create "stir-fried ice cream" and then shaves it into perfect rolls in only about a minute.
Don't you wish you could order one of these in your hometown? In the meantime, here's a great recipe you can make using ice cream at home. Both are guaranteed to make your mouth water!
Please SHARE with your friends on Facebook if you're aching to try this frosty treat!
