Wife Loses Wedding Ring When Tornado Destroys Home, Then Stranger Helps And Finds It In 4 Hours

For the people living in certain parts of the United States, natural disasters like tornados and floods often threaten to wipe out their homes. This very real nightmare became a reality for newlyweds Justin and Ariel Duke when their home was totally destroyed by a tornado. They lost all of their possessions, but are thankfully alive.

Ariel was at her in-laws' home when the disaster struck. She was there to do some yard work, so she left her wedding ring and band at home. They were lost when her house was destroyed.

The couple returned to the place where their home once stood to try to find the valuables in the debris. They spent six days searching for the rings, with no luck. Finally, Justin turned to Facebook to tell their story.

His post attracted the attention of Nathan Wright, a metal-detector enthusiast. He offered them his help.

He arrived on the scene and methodically ran his machine over the property. In just four hours he was able to miraculously find the wedding ring. Around 20 minutes after that, he found Ariel's wedding band.

The couple may have lost everything they owned, but they're thankful to have these precious symbols still in their possession. Now, they're ready to rebuild their lives!
