Red Car Gets Stuck On Icy Tracks, Then Camera Shows Train Quickly Approaching

If you've ever come upon a railroad crossing while driving, you most likely approach with caution.

Even when the crossing sign is green and you're free to go, you should still look both ways. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

Unfortunately, accidents can happen even when the roadblock is up and you see that the railways are clear.

ABC News got some incredible footage from Portland, Oregon, that shows what could have been a terrible accident on the railroad tracks near a busy intersection.

The video documents cars crossing the railroad, mostly with ease. Then one red car approaches and gets stuck in the snow right in the middle of the track. Watching the clip, you can tell that the driver is getting anxious as a train approaches.

The motorist puts the pedal to the medal, but there is not enough leverage to get the tires unstuck. That's when some nearby drivers decide to hop out of their car to help this stranger.

A group of four men end up pushing from the back. Just as they set the car free, a train comes speeding through the track.

Could you imagine being in this situation?
