What would you do if you saw a poor dog locked inside a car on a hot day? Would you help? Would you do nothing?
Summer is in full swing, and when it's this hot outside, it can take less than ten minutes for the inside of a car to reach 120 degrees. Tragically, too many dog owners who leave their dogs inside a hot car come back only to find their dogs have stopped breathing. Even with the windows cracked, it's not worth taking the chance.
In this fascinating clip from What Would You Do? strangers are put to the test when they're faced with a Golden Retriever suffering alone inside his owner's vehicle. Would bystanders confront the owner? Would they call the police? It's one thing to discuss this sort of scenario with friends or via Facebook, but what if you were face-to-face with the situation in real life?
We all like to think we'd be virtuous and do the right thing, but I have to say, the people in this video really surprised me — in a good way! Especially the family towards the very end, and the teen who isn't afraid to speak up.
Please SHARE this video to pass along the message that owners simply cannot do this to their four-legged friends.
