Chore days. Everyone has one. For some people it's once a week, others can go for months without one and then do one BIG day of cleaning. No matter how often you do them, they're never exactly fun, although you will probably feel quite accomplished in your sparkly clean house afterwards.
If you split up the chores with your kids or significant others, you may want to pick wisely about what room you take, and what chores you decide to do.
While the kitchen may seem like the hardest room in the house to clean, there are all kinds of household hacks, like using lemon and vinegar to easily clean out your garbage disposal, or a special "paste" to get burnt on grease off surfaces. Plus, you can always dance while mopping to make things a little more fun.
Bathrooms can essentially be done with the same handy tricks as the kitchen… (As long as the rags are used in the bathroom after the kitchen!)
That just leaves the bedrooms. It seems like a safe bet right? Wash the bedding, tidy up. When the bedding is all done, out it back together and voila — unless you are like this woman (and myself) who had never seen the duvet hacking videos, and you wind up stuck for hours inside your comforter!
Hopefully someone shares the trick with her for next time. In the meantime, this makes the rest of us who have struggled with the duvet not feel so silly!
If this made you laugh, please SHARE!
