This is one of the cutest DIY designs I've seen! So delicate, but sturdy at the same time!
I could see keeping all sorts of things in this bowl — everything from napkins, to party favors, to potpourri. It's also a fairly easy craft to do with kids, so you can even get them involved in this if you have a long afternoon to fill!
The hardest part of this craft is finding fabric stiffener, but if you have a half-decent craft store by you, they should definitely have it. Then, all you need is a balloon, a lace doily, and something to hold both of them steady overnight.
It's fun to make little things like this to brighten up a midwinter afternoon, and any time I can do a project with the grandkids, I love it!
