Some mornings, you feel like flat-out refusing to greet the day. Whether you're under the weather or just in need of a little extra relaxation, the idea of leaving your bed makes you cling to your sheets even more. I'll be honest, that's most mornings for me. I have never ever been an "up-and-at-em type," especially if there's not enough coffee in my system.
Apparently the animal kingdom has its share of sleepyheads, too. In fact, they might be even worse than me. Of course, they don't have responsibilities like jobs and bills to worry about, so they can take as much time as they want. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't pretty jealous of them, but I'm glad at least someone is getting all the shut-eye they like — and I'm even more grateful that their silly antics have been filmed and shared so often! My favorite might be the sweet piggy that refuses to come out from under the covers until she sniffs a yummy treat waiting for her.
This tiny guy might take that top spot from her, though. The baby elephant is so content with his snooze, basking in the rays of the sun while tourists laugh at the fatigued fella. His mom seems a bit embarrassed at his lack of manners and tries to nudge him awake with her trunk a few times before giving up on her persistent son. I have definitely put my parents through the same routine before!
