Too often, we hear stories about animals getting stranded or stuck. But thankfully, in many of those situations, a hero emerges to save the day!
Recently, a baby seal fell from his enclosure at the Milwaukee County Zoo. Zookeepers acted fast and managed to reunite the baby of 70 lbs. with his mother! Visitors at the zoo were so happy to see the reunion!
After getting washed ashore a week before, a different baby seal was just set free. It's believed the little one got stuck on the shore after a rough storm. The seal was stuck in a big batch of green fishing net. Surfers were able get the seal to come to them so they could help.
The seal wasn't exactly friendly, but once the surfers were able to get close enough, they worked together to hold the seal while one man cut the netting off. As soon as the seal was free of the netting, he raced right toward the ocean. You can see its little flippers slapping the sand as they rush to the water! The seal didn't stop to say thank you, but I'm sure the little one was just so happy to go back to the sea to join his family!
Don't forget to SHARE this rescued little baby with all of your friends and family!
